*Projects cannot be submitted in more than 2 categories

**Fabricators and detailers must be members of the CISC

STEP 1:

Intention to Submit a Project:
Each team must indicate their intention to enter a project in the contest for projects completed between December 1st, 2019, and March 1st, 2022; To avoid the rejection of submissions, ensure to complete all required information for review by CISC.

The following information is mandatory:

•   Name of the Project
•   Location of the Project
•   The members of the Team
•   Description of the Project (maximum of 500 words)

STEP 2:

If your submission is accepted, you will be notified by August 29, 2022.

To then finalize your project submission, click on the link received in your registration confirmation email. Simply log in your account and add the following mandatory information to your online submission. All entries must be received by the CISC by 5:00 pm, ET on September 19th, 2022, and include the following:

- Explanation of the reasons for choosing a steel frame.
- Highlights of each: the architectural, technical, sustainable, innovative, or particular interest aspects.
- A (Presentation in PDF with photos included)
minimum of five color photos (JPEG format - high resolution), showing the structure and architectural aspects of the project. These images will be used to:
- present the project at the evening of the awards ceremony.
- to produce written and online material, posters, panels, etc.
- for the presentation of the winners in Advantage Steel Magazine and for any article publication on the CISC website or Newsletter.
- If photo credits are required, please specify.

Note: The architect, the engineer, the fabricator, or the detailer that submit the project, are submitting on behalf and in the name of all the stakeholders.

All entries must be received by the CISC by 5:00 pm, ET on September 19th, 2022.

To be eligible for the Quebec CISC Awards of Excellence in Steel Construction,
the project must meet the following:

Key criteria:
- THE PROJECT will make use of structural steel in an aesthetic, ingenious, innovative, and sustainable way. The project team must also describe the recycling or reuse of steel or any other measure that incorporates steel in a concept of sustainable development.
- THE STRUCTURE must be in Quebec if the project team is not primarily from Quebec.
- THE PROJECT TEAM should be mainly from Quebec if the structure is not in Quebec.
- THE STRUCTURE must have been built or inaugurated between December 1st, 2019, and
March 1st, 2022.
- THE FRAMING for all categories must have been manufactured CISC member or designed (drafted) by a CISC Associate.

DATES CLÉS ET INSCRIPTIONS

ÉTAPE 1 :

Intention d’inscrire un projet :
Chaque équipe doit indiquer son intention d’inscrire un projet dans le cadre du concours pour des projets réalisés entre le 1er décembre 2019 et le 1er mars 2022. Pour éviter le rejet des inscriptions, assurez-vous de fournir tous les renseignements requis aux fins d’examen par l’ICCA.

Les renseignements suivants sont obligatoires :

•   Nom du projet
•   Emplacement du projet
•   Membres de l’équipe
•   Description du projet (maximum de 500 mots)

Inscrivez un projet ici en soumettant le formulaire d’inscription en ligne avec les renseignements obligatoires d’ici le 15 août 2022. (Téléversez une photo représentative au format PDF)

ÉTAPE 2 :

Si votre candidature est acceptée, vous en serez avisé au plus tard le 29 août 2022.

Pour finaliser l’inscription de votre projet, cliquez sur le lien reçu dans votre courriel de confirmation d’inscription. Il vous suffit d’ouvrir une session dans votre compte et d’ajouter les renseignements obligatoires suivants à votre inscription en ligne. Toutes les inscriptions doivent parvenir à l’ICCA au plus tard le 19 septembre 2022 à 17 h HE et comprendre les éléments suivants :
- Les raisons qui ont motivé le choix d’une charpente en acier;
- Les points saillants de chaque raison : aspects architectural, technique, de durabilité, d’innovation ou d’intérêt particulier;
- Une présentation au format PDF incluant des photos et
au moins cinq photos en couleur (format JPEG - haute résolution), montrant la structure et les aspects architecturaux du projet. Ces images seront utilisées pour :
- présenter le projet le soir de la cérémonie de remise des prix;
- produire le matériel écrit et en ligne, les affiches, les panneaux, etc.;
- la présentation des gagnants dans le magazine Avantage Acier et pour toute publication d’article sur le site Web ou dans le bulletin de l’ICCA;
- Si des crédits photo sont nécessaires, veuillez le préciser.

Remarque : L’architecte, l’ingénieur, le fabricant ou le détailleur qui inscrit le projet le fait au nom de tous les intervenants.

Toutes les inscriptions doivent parvenir à l’ICCA au plus tard le 19 septembre 2022 à 17 h HE.

Pour être admissible aux Prix d’excellence de la construction en acier de l’ICCA – Québec,
le projet doit répondre aux exigences suivantes :

Critères clés :
Le PROJET doit utiliser l’acier de construction d’une manière esthétique, ingénieuse, novatrice et durable. L’équipe de projet doit également décrire le recyclage ou la réutilisation de l’acier ou toute autre mesure qui intègre l’acier dans un concept de développement durable.
LA STRUCTURE doit se trouver au Québec si l’équipe de projet n’est pas principalement du Québec.
L’ÉQUIPE DE PROJET doit provenir principalement du Québec si la structure n’est pas au Québec.
LA STRUCTURE doit avoir été érigée ou la réalisation doit avoir été inaugurée entre le 1er décembre 2019 et le 1er mars 2022.
LA CHARPENTE pour toutes les catégories doit avoir été fabriquée par un membre de l’ICCA ou conçue (dessinée) par un associé de l’ICCA.
