About the Woman's Way Business Awards
Austin Woman magazine was founded in 2002 with the vision to uplift and cultivate a community of inspiring women. This year, it feels more fitting than ever to celebrate the work of women in Austin—women who are challenging outdated structures, envisioning new ways of solving problems, and laying the foundations for an inclusive and authentic city.
Our 10th Annual Woman’s Way Business Awards are going to be the best yet, and we can’t wait to celebrate together!
Requirements for Applicants/Nominees
Company must be based in Austin or have a significant operating arm in Austin.
Company must either be founded, owned or co-owned, or led (CSuite) by an Austin-based femme-identifying person (exception for Corporate applicants).
Application Process
Click the "Submit an Entry" button and register your account. Registration is for the person submitting the application - the application itself will be for the nominee/business (you will provide some duplicate information if you are nominating your own business).
You will first select the category in which you are applying. Please make sure to read the application notes for detailed information about each category. PLEASE NOTE: You may apply in up to TWO categories, and we highly encourage you to do so!
Complete all application sections, including file upload, and submit your application.
You will be redirected to the "Submitted Entries" page in your profile. To submit a second application in a different category, locate your submitted application, and click the orange square on the left side to duplicate your entry.
Click the green pencil "Edit" icon on the left to open the duplicated application. You will then select the 2nd Category in which you'd like to apply. You can then submit the new application. PLEASE NOTE: The Corporate Champion category requires several different question responses than the other 11 categories, so please make sure to complete any additional required fields.
Selection Process
Winners are chosen by a selection committee composed of local women business owners and community leaders. To date, the Woman’s Way Business Awards are Austin’s only awards exclusive to women-owned and women-led businesses.
Note: Except for the “I Am Austin Woman” category, all awards are granted to the Business, not the applicant/nominee.
