The Bowen Basin Mining Club, in partnership with the Queensland Resources Council, proudly presents the Queensland mining industry’s premier awards event: the Queensland Mining Awards 2022.

The Awards are open to contractors, suppliers and mining companies operating in Queensland. We celebrate the achievements and advances of our sector with a peer-judging panel composed of industry leaders, and a gala celebration during QME 2022 in Mackay.

Winners are recognised for their innovation, forward thinking and willingness to help our industry continue to set the standard in mining and resources production.

Our eight categories will once again highlight the industry’s best, from safety to productivity, collaboration and importantly, environmental and community/staff initiatives.

Projects delivered between April 2020 and April 2022 will be eligible to enter across a diverse range of categories –

Open to Contractors and Suppliers Only:
- Glencore Productivity Award
- Hastings Deering Safety Award
- Austmine Innovation (METS) Award
- QME Best Product Launch

Open to Contractors and Mining Companies:
- METS Ignited Collaboration Award
- SMW Group Community/Staff Engagement or Equal Opportunity Award
- iCutter Environment Award

Open to Mining Companies Only:
- AusIndustry Innovation (Miner) Award

The Queensland Mining Contractor of the Year will be awarded to one finalist who displayed excellence across several categories.
