QMEA Ambassador Scholarship Scholarship 2022 - Now Closed

**This scholarship is only available to students who were selected as 2022 QMEA Ambassadors and are scheduled to graduate from a QMEA school in November 2022. **

There are two $5,000 scholarships available and will be awarded to students in the outgoing Ambassador cohort.

These scholarships (two in total, each consisting of one payment of $5,000) will be awarded to an Ambassador who has demonstrated excellent leadership, community spirit and commitment to both the QMEA Ambassador program and bettering their school and broader community.

Students wishing to apply for the QMEA Ambassador Scholarship should:

ARISE Student Scholarship 2022 - Now Open

**This scholarship is only available to students who studied Year 12 at a QMEA or ARISE Partner School in 2022 and are intending to undertake tertiary study in Engineering at an Australian university in 2023. **

There are two scholarships available in 2022 - one to the value of $10,000 and one to the value of $5,000. From 2023, there will be one $10,000 scholarship available annually.

These scholarships will be awarded to a student from a QMEA or ARISE partner school who has shown exceptional academic abilities, demonstrated leadership skills or leadership potential, and is intending to pursue a course of study that will lead to a career in the resources sector.

Students wishing to apply for the ARISE Student Scholarship should:

Complete the general application sections of the application
Complete the relevant questions specific to the scholarship you are applying for
Upload all relevant information and documentation to support your application

Please note, scholarship applications are judged via a multi-stage process, which will require additional documentation to be provided at a later date to ensure students are considered for shortlisting and are able to progress through the selection process.

QMEA GIRLS Mentoring Scholarship 2022 - Now Closed

**This scholarship is only available to students who successfully completed the QMEA/WIMARQ GIRLS Mentoring Program in 2022. **

There are two $5,000 scholarships available. Students who are eligible for both scholarships are able to apply for both scholarships.

Future Leader Scholarship
This scholarship (one payment of $5,000) will be awarded to the student who has shown exceptional leadership throughout her schooling or has exceptional leadership potential as a result of participation in the program. All participants in the 2022 program are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Regional Student Scholarship
This scholarship (one payment of $5,000) will be awarded to a student completed the GIRLS mentoring program at a regional school, or where the student will need to move to a regional area to undertake post-school study or work (e.g. University study or commence an apprenticeship, traineeship or TAFE study). Only students who meet this eligibility criteria are able to apply for this scholarship.
