The Mobiography Awards is a new, international mobile photography competition that aims to showcase and document the best smartphone photography and video/multimedia produced on a smartphone from around the world.

How to Enter

To enter the Mobiography Awards, simply click the green 'Submit an Entry' button in the top right corner of your screen. You will need to register your details before you can submit your photos and videos to the competition.

When submitting to the LumaTouch Moving Pictures video and multimedia category, you must include a Youtube or Vimeo URL for the video along with a video thumbnail image and a detailed workflow explaining gear and apps you used to produce the work.

Categories

You can submit photos to one of five categories:

· Street & Urban

· Landscape & Nature

· People & Portraits

· Digital Art

· LumaTouch Moving Pictures, Video/Multimedia Category

LumaTouch Moving Pictures Category

To help bridge the gap between the disciplines of photography and video editing, LumaTouch is sponsoring the first ever moving pictures category for the Mobiography Awards. Entrants will be judged on their ability to tell a story with a series of photos using a mobile video editing app like LumaFusion. The final creation should invoke a sense of impact and display a creative marriage between photography and video editing techniques.

Possible entries could include slideshows (with or without audio), moving images, or anything else that creates movement between multiple photos or movement within photos themselves.

The winner will be selected by the LumaTouch team.

LumaTouch Moving Pictures Category Criteria

Must include multiple images that play as a sequence.
Source material needs to be still photographs.
Sequence should be at least 30 seconds long.
Sequence should not exceed 2 minutes.
Final project needs to be exported from a mobile video editing application such as LumaFusion.
Detail workflow explaining gear and apps you used to produce the work in the entry application description.
Submissions need to be uploaded to YouTube/Vimeo and the url included with your submission

Entry costs

$10 for 1 photo/video
$20 - up to 3 photo/video
$30 - up to 5 photo/video
$50 - up to 10 photo/video
$75 - up to 15 photo/video
$100 - up to 20 photo/video
$150 - up to 30 photo/video

A maximum of 30 photos/videos can be submitted per user account.

Closing Date

The closing date for entries is Friday 20th August 2021 at 23:59
