Thank you for your interest in applying for a Women In Trucking Foundation scholarship! We strongly believe in supporting women seeking to begin, grow or advance their careers in all fields of the trucking industry. SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFICATIONS:

1. To qualify, all applicants must be pursuing careers in the trucking industry, in the fields of driving, safety, technical or leadership.

2. While you do not have to be currently enrolled in a school or program at the time of application, awards are only paid directly to schools, so you must be enrolled at an accredited school or program to receive the scholarship. No exceptions are made to this rule.

TIMELINE:

Applications are accepted between August 1, 2020 to October 31, 2020 at 11:59 pm EST. Winners will be announced in November and scholarships will be dispersed directly to schools shortly after.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

Please note the application has two sections to complete. The first section captures basic information about applicants. The second section has material that will be shared with judges. You have the option to save a draft and complete it later, but completed submissions must be sent by the deadline. Please take the time to answer questions thoroughly and professionally, as your answers are used by judges make to their decisions. A more detailed, thorough answer may be more helpful to judges in scoring.

Applications must be received through this website before the deadline to be considered. Please do not mail or email applications, as they cannot be accepted in that format.

OUR POLICY ON AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS:

If you are not yet enrolled in a school, we will hold the award for up to 12 months. Please note that you must have a balance due with the school for tuition at the time of award (in November 2020) to receive funds, or the school can refund you should you have paid the balance in full. Under no circumstances do we make payments directly to individuals. Payments will only be made to accredited schools and training programs pertinent to the category of award selected.
